He is oversmart and it is not possible for a normal person to catch. His objective is to somehow make customers happy by praising the product, by instilling fear in customers but offering a solution to mitigate it. I would not recommend him to anyone though he is technically strong but he uses his strength to fool customers. Freezer door just needed alignment which he quoted as a bent and damaged door and charges 901 for just 10 minutes of labour. He also contradicted his statement and got caught . On getting caught on his wrong invalid statements(to show how much he cares for customers products ) , he had to cut a sorry face to me . I can tolerate a non technical person but never an oversmart technical person whose objective is to fool customer as much as possible and charge as much as possible. He had said that gasket replacement will cost 2700 and in that he will do other work like door alignment for free( a clever plot to please customers and to win his confidence). Later he quoted 1700 for gasket and 901 for door repair as he was bound by UC charges . On 1st day of inspection ,He told me not to switch on the fridge till he replaced the gasket as that was too hard and not sealing He said that if the fridge is kept on, it will not cool enough(which is correct) and will not let the compressor stop and so the compressor may get overloaded and damaged . After replacing the gasket when I found that the compressor is continuously on , he said that the model is old and timer based unlike temperature or sensor based and the compressor will stop once on 8 or 12 hours as a built-in timer. Now you can see that he contradicted his own statement of earlier day. Basically he plays such a trick to impress upon the customer so that the customer later believes whatever he said . That makes his job of overcharging easy . No problem on actual work but one will surely end up paying more without realising it unless checked with an alternate expert. Be careful before accepting proposal. Take the proposal of repair , study it thoroughly , take advise of someone else or from chatgpt before accepting. Negotiation is a must else you will end up paying more as it happened in my case and UC did nothing about it though I repeatedly said that door realignment was falsely quoted as bent and damaged door to charge me rs 901 for a plain 10 min labour which I could have done myself roo with a spanner He got exposed as I too am a logical , analytical and technical person
