In terms of installation, he did a decent job. But after installing the door part, he told us that our door frame had some issues and the lock can't be fit. And told us to book another carpenter to create a slot in the frame. Ideally, he should have identified it upfront before beginning of installation. We can't keep the door open till some other carpenter comes the next day. Then he agreed to fit the lock himself on the promise of extra money only. This thing, took just 10 extra minutes literally. In the end, he made me rate his work in front of him. I had to give him full 5 star rating as he insisted. Now real demand has started. For just 10 minutes of additional work, he demanded Rs. 1000, although the entire installation was free. I somehow managed to negotiate it down to Rs 200. First time, we experienced such behaviour from an UC guy.
