The plumber removed the hair and dirt that was stuck in the wash basin bottle trap, thereby fixing the immediate problem of leakage. I used my UC warranty facility to request the plumber to visit again, to put Teflon tape to wrap threaded pipe connections of the bottle trap, so it creates a watertight or airtight seal. He visited and did the same. So, big thanks to the plumber and to Urban Company for providing fantastic service.
