I didn't understand what he did. I booked a deep cleaning of the chimney. I thought this means parts will be out and be cleaned But he mentioned deep cleaning is not possible cause some device is inside and only Elicia service people should take it up. So then what i asked. He said basic cleaning will be done. I said okay. You know what is basic cleaning? Clean it with a cloth with some spray wash the net, wipe of the inside and in 5 mins max basic cleaning is done. For this conveniently I paid 600 and rest UC said will refund. This means what I could have done with Colin Spray, I paid 600 to UC for the same Thank you for wasting my time Now interestingly service will be done by Elicia who will charge 1800 for deep cleaning and will take 90 mins for the same. Money wasted. Time wasted Thank you UC Stop these stupid warranty schemes.

Did not come in urban company uniform. We had to provide everything from old cotton clothes , newspaper, Colin multi purpose cleaner to lighter . He took out the steam machine only when we asked and that also for stove and not for chimney. He could have done a better cleaning job as we opted for deep cleaning.

He didn’t even bother to read the user manual and installed the chimney at 700 mm height from the hob. The height placement was wrong. I had to show him the manual and get it installed at the right height again. He didn’t know basic details. For a 300-400 mm distance (which was clearly mentioned in the user manual for such inclined chimneys), he was marking it at 30-40 inches. I had to step in and help him with measurements. For vertical/inclined chimneys, the height reference is different and he didn’t know that. I would expect a technician to know these basics. Highly disappointed
