I’m really very disappointed with the service I received today from Urban Company. Firstly, the professional arrived 20 minutes late and then rushed through the entire service. The booking clearly mentioned an estimated duration of 2 hours 30 minutes, but everything was wrapped up within 2 hours. This made the service feel extremely hurried, incomplete and frankly quite unhygienic. The quality of work was far from satisfactory. The nail polish application on both my hands and feet was extremely poor — uneven, messy and clearly lacking basic skill. It honestly looked like an untrained job. The most concerning part was during the upper lip waxing. The wax used was excessively hot, which resulted in a burn on the right side of my upper lip. This is completely unacceptable. I have my anniversary tomorrow, and now I’m left worried about how I’ll look with a visible patch on my face. Additionally, I had clearly informed the professional at the start that I am 2 months postpartum and have a newborn at home, so hygiene and gentleness were very important to me. Despite this, she had a runny nose and sore throat throughout the service, and I had to explicitly ask her to wear a mask. This was extremely uncomfortable and concerning, especially given the situation at home. I expect much higher standards, especially when booking UC Lux services. This experience was far from “luxury” — it was careless, unhygienic and disappointing. Never ever gonna book from you guys! I would like Urban Company to take this seriously and ensure better training, hygiene protocols and professionalism.
