I had a very disappointing experience with the electrician assigned through . The electrician told me that the regulator was faulty and that the fan’s capacitor was also not working properly. He advised me to replace the regulator and quoted ₹240 for it. However, when I checked the MRP printed on the regulator, it was clearly ₹149. I informed him that legally he cannot charge more than the MRP—he can charge less or up to MRP, but not above it. Despite this, he still quoted an inflated price. The same issue happened with the capacitor, which he had already installed. Eventually, I had to buy a regulator from outside at a lower price, and it turned out to be better.Overall, I felt a lack of honesty and transparency. Misleading a customer like this is unacceptable. I would not recommend this electrician at all. The 1.5-star rating I’ve given is only because the fan is currently working otherwise, I would have rated even lower if possible. as well.
