The professional showed up, saw the work and first thing he did was pull up the urban co. rate card card on his phone. I tried to talk to him about how he would do the task but he was not interested in discussing all that. I told Ravi, I needed a bed dismantled and 2 doors to be taken off, cut 1 inch from the bottom and reinstalled. He said per urban co. rates the total would be 2,500 including 900 to dismantle the bed. I asked him how much he would charge if the work is done off the books and he asked 2,000 which was also too high. Luckily I was able to get a carpenter's reference from a plywood store near my house and that person did the work for 1,400 this morning, including 200 to dismantle the bed. For Urban co I appreciate your effort to try and organize such an unorganized sector but the prices you have are ridiculously high, imagine 900 vs 200 to dismantle a bed. Also I dont appreciate being temporarily blocked from making a booking on your app, I am guessing for offering the professional to work offline.
