I had an absolutely terrible experience with Urban Company’s smart lock installation. The quality was horrible — the lock didn’t even work properly for one full day. Within an hour of installation, it started showing a constant “low battery” warning, even after replacing the batteries with brand-new ones. It never stopped. When I asked for a fix or replacement, the professional kept making excuses (lock out of stock, reinstall the app, etc.) and Urban Company was unable to get him to return. I’m now left with a door that can only be opened by manually forcing it with a key. The lock also refuses to connect to my home Wi-Fi on any band and is locked exclusively to the Urban Company app, which falsely shows 100% battery while the lock itself keeps showing low battery. The entire service was extremely slow, and the installation damaged the door. I strongly recommend staying away from this professional and Urban Company’s lock installation service. Complete waste of time and money — horrible quality with zero accountability.
