Based on my previous experience with Urban Company’s chimney service, I had clearly instructed the technician not to use any chemical on that particular area, as the chemical could damage the polish. Despite my clear instructions, he did not listen and applied the chemical. As expected, the polish came off again. Moreover, while installing the chimney, he did not check the position of the handle and holder before fixing it. Because of this, the chimney got stuck. It took 5–8 people trying to remove it, and only then was it finally taken out. Unfortunately, while removing it, the backside of the chimney was completely damaged/spoiled. This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable, especially because I had specifically warned the technician beforehand. I expect Urban Company to take responsibility for the damage caused and provide an appropriate resolution. The installation is still incomplete. The chimney pipe has not been installed yet, and the service has not been completed.
