I am extremely disappointed with the system in UC. The technician fixed on a price for a new chimney motor and deep cleaning, totalling to 5,148. He said the chimney motor invoice and warranty would be uploaded only via the app in the evening after he finished. He said he was facing "issues" with the app and could not load the invoice right away. In the evening, an invoice of Rs. 5,148 was generated on the app which I paid immediately based on the trust we have with UC. After this, the harassement by the technician began- where he called me from multiple numbers, demanded Rs. 2000 more to mark the job as completed and would not share the invoice. Even after escalating this to the senior customer service management at UC, the technician has been suspended for unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. But I have not recieved my invoice for the chimney motor, nor a warranty for the same. So I cannot even know if the motor is new and original though I paid the full amount for it. How does UC hire such blackmailers without doing a background check? And what is the compensation mechanism when this kind of negative incident happens? It is finally the customer (myself) who has suffered because you have got your aggregator fees, and the technician made his money as well. Only I have not recieved an invoice, no assurance of a genuine part and so much harrassment from the technician as well as UC through repeated automated calls at work and junior customer service staff who tried to wrap it up saying I should talk directly to the technician who has already harassed me with multiple calls from unknown numbers! As a female customer I felt extremely unsafe being called around 15 times from multiple unknown numbers by the technician yesterday evening and I am surprised that even the female staff at UC customer service would be so insensitive. I will definitely not be using your services for anything again, but I hope you take the following points as feedback. 1. Design a transparent and efficient system where the technician uploads a draft invoice that UC, techinician and customer can all access and agree upon. 2. Please do not put all the responsibility of dealing with the technician on the customer's head so that we can be abused and ripped off by these unethical people. 3. Make sure you do a background check before getting technicians on board and set some rules with them on how to work professionally. I hope nobody has to undergo such an experience with your company again.
