I chose a 2-bedroom villa, so naturally it included a garden, but there wasn’t a significant amount of belongings to move. However, I was charged an additional fee for an extra truck. When I inspected the truck before departure, I noticed there was still plenty of space available. I asked the movers to load the remaining items, but they told me there was no room, even though the truck appeared to be only about half full. When I booked the service, I was told that bubble wrap would be provided, but it wasn’t available on the moving day. As a result, several items, including a stroller and a car seat, were transported without any protective wrapping and ended up scratched. The movers also packed all of my clothes on hangers into regular boxes instead of using wardrobe boxes. I was never informed that wardrobe boxes were unavailable or that there would be an additional charge for them. In my previous moves, every moving company provided wardrobe boxes at no extra cost and used them without me having to request them. Had I been informed that there was an additional fee, I would have happily paid it to keep my clothes protected and wrinkle-free. Instead, I now have to iron all of them.
