Our freedom fighters fought for it, our ancestors died for it, and our armed forces sacrifice every day of their lives to help us keep it. In adverse conditions, away from their families and without any sense of a holiday.
To many of us Independence day can mean a long weekend, but on this day take time to pay your tribute to those who help us enjoy it the way we want.
Freedom to us may mean many things, but the sense of it can be celebrated with a common spirit. #ThankYouIndianArmedForces
