Last week was a joyous, joyous week at Urban Company. You might ask why. Why was this week any different from the other 4 weeks of the month? Or the other 52 weeks of the year?

It’s simple. We officially came a million miles from where we began our journey. Yes, we successfully delivered 10,00,000 service experiences to our customers all over India.

We started 21 months ago, with nothing but a brilliant idea and three ambitious entrepreneurs who would go on to pioneer the journey of startups in India and beyond. The first Urban Company service ever booked was a Home Cleaning service by Nina Panda. Since then, due to the stringent efforts of a strong team of over 250 passionate individuals with a desire to change the world, we’ve grown to offer a plethora of professional services to 7 metropolitan cities. As a startup it is very important that you are able to find employees who can carry out and keep our vision for the company alive on a day to day operational basis. So, yes our employees have been key to our growth and we hope that they continue to be. An organization is all about its people, the product and service come later.
