The experience was extremely disappointing and honestly unacceptable. The professional arrived smelling strongly of cigarettes to the point that I had to ask him to wash his hands before starting. Despite specifically asking whether he had expertise in beard styling, the service delivered was careless and highly incompetent. He completely ignored the instructions I gave regarding the beard shape and length. Both sides of the beard are now visibly uneven, with a major difference in length. The trimming was so poorly done that I genuinely felt like asking him to stop midway, but by then the damage was already done. Urban Company seriously needs to ensure that professionals assigned for beard styling are actually experienced and skilled in that service. He may be suitable for a basic haircut, but certainly not for beard grooming or styling. I’m genuinely disgusted by the experience and the lack of professionalism shown. This has completely broken my trust in the service, and unless this is addressed seriously, this will probably be my last time using Urban Company.
