I asked for Geyser Service & Paid for the same ₹700/- + The technician came, evaluated it and decllared noy repairable. If so, why I nees to pay so much? Will you refund the excess paid??

The technician opened the bottom cover of the geyser and immediately declared that the coil as well as the thermostat need to be replaced and quoted a figure of around Rs 2800 for the same. He stated this without any proper checking. I immediately told him to close the geyser and leave. Subsequently i called the manufacturer (V guard). Their technician checked and found that the wire had burnt and replaced the wire. The total cost came to Rs 428. The service and visitation fee paid to UC turned out to be a waste. Request UC to refund this amount
