The Urban Clap TV Repair person (Motiram) was suppossed to replce my tv mothetboard. He replaced the motherboard, but he has removed the Original Display of my Sony TV and put a faulty display on which there are lines all over tge screen. Upon confronting him he said that your display iis gione bad and it also has to be replaced and asked 8 thousand rupees from me. He has cheated us and also Urban Clap company. Please register a formal complanit against him.

I have been facing issues with my Television wifi connectivity, for that reason I have chosen Urban Clap Service There are 2 options one is only visit which cost me 99 rs and second is service which cost me 308 rs with repair, I have chosen 2 nd option but the technician when arrived he never checked the Television by his hand he just listened the issue and coated that telivision has motherboard issues , what pathetic service I have got , this was the first and last experience on Urban Clap, my request to all the customer who trust this company service always trust your near by local technician.

Came and checked TV and said backlight is out, due to voltage fluctuation, I have a stabiliser for the TV but he said that doesn’t protect against it which sounds like a plausible reason. He was polite however and took the TV for service, the date for returning was a week later. He didn’t come that day and when I called he said it’s not done yet, which is fine but he didn’t inform proactively. The next day he called at 11:30 in the morning and said he would be visiting, I waited all day and called him again in the evening around 7 since he hadn’t come. Then he called around 9 and said he is on the way, I told him it’s not feasible and he kept requesting since he had a service somewhere far the next day, he came for the visit after 10 pm and delivered the TV. The TV seems fine after replacement of backlight.
