I booked pest control service for my 1BHK. The executive carried out treatment in the kitchen, and I appreciate that he did it thoroughly, covering each infected area properly. He also applied treatment in the bathroom, hall, and bedroom, but not across all the infected areas, as the liquid solution ran out midway. It was refilled once, but again got exhausted. The executive mentioned that such quantity is usually used for 2BHK, which raises the question—why charge ₹1650 for a 1BHK one-time service if the coverage is incomplete? There were still areas where cockroaches are commonly seen, but treatment was not applied there. Overall, I feel the service did not justify the high cost, and I would not recommend paying such an amount for this level of coverage.

UC should provide an option to select if we want herbal or chemical pest control. We needed herbal but we ended up doing chemical pest control due to which now we have to take extra precautions. Also the person said that the effect will remain on utensils for 14-16 days so till then we have to wash and use the utensils. He said that the chemical will keep on reacting with utensils no matter wherever we put those. We cannot keep food in utensils for more than 3 hrs as after that chemical will react with the utensils. Due to which few people had suffered food poisoning. Few with sensitive skin suffered rashes. And many other cases he explained. If the chemical is that bad why are we using it in the household. He scared all of us. It was unexpected.
