I had a very unpleasant experience with UrbanClap regarding a fan installation service. The installation and uninstallation were booked through Amazon and fully paid in advance. However, when the professional arrived, he claimed that the uninstallation was a separate service and demanded additional payment in cash. He connected me to a customer care agent from UrbanClap, whose attitude was completely unprofessional. The agent did not acknowledge the issue and insisted that I pay the professional directly in cash. I then contacted Amazon, and they advised me to collect a receipt for any additional charges and submit it to them for reimbursement. Unfortunately, neither the service professional nor the customer care agent was able to provide a receipt for the extra payment they were demanding. This frustrating ordeal dragged on for over an hour, during which I had to deal with unprofessional behavior from both the service provider and UrbanClap’s support team—right inside my own home.
