The engineer just told me that the screen was damaged without Opening the tv and when asked to check properly and give a solution he opened the tv and told the same thing that the display is damaged but he didn't even check for the issue with equipment, He should check properly which equipment is causing the issue. After that he quote it will take 7500 rs to fix the issue and the chances are 50-50, After he gone I Opened the tv and put some tape around one cable after watching at the solution online and the solution worked and my tv is working fine now, I wasted my 308 rs today on uc, I will not use this service as thia is totally fraud, I even told engineer to put some tape on the wire but he told it will not work, He only wanted to take my tv with him to repair. I will not say that he is wrong or fraud but I didn't feel satisfied as he didn't use any equipment to check for the issue.

I had my tv taken by their team for a power issue fix which already costed me 3.6k now once fixed, there is a new display issue(red line) coming up which wasn't there at all before. Now I am being forced to fix this issue by spending extra 4-5k for a tv whose display was perfectly working fine and which came back damaged after repair and Urban company takes no responsibility or accountability for the same. Such a shame

Tv was not out of order but the professional told that there is motherboard issue in the tv, I changed the adapter and it worked. It seems professionals try to extract money from the customers by telling some big issue in the product. And this is happening across your service. Be it electrician, carpenter etc.

I booked a TV repair service on 30th. The technician paused the job twice, each time giving false reasons saying it was necessary to rectify the issue. Initially, he told me that the TV motherboard had been repaired, but after a few days, he called again and said that the motherboard needed to be replaced and demanded ₹6,000 for it. However, on the app, the estimated cost for a 40-inch TV motherboard replacement was shown as around ₹4,000. When I questioned him about this difference, he said the one on the app was of bad quality and that he would install an “original” one instead. The difference between the price shown on the app and what the engineer demanded is huge. Due to this lack of transparency and misleading information, I have decided not to proceed with the repair and this will be my first and last time using UrbanClap services. I hope the company looks into this issue seriously and ensures fair pricing and honest communication with customers.
