I had been facing an issue with my kitchen sink tap for almost two months. Since it was a Chinese sink, finding a suitable adaptor or CP extension was difficult due to the different threading size. Also, the wall behind the sink made it impossible to rotate the tap and fit it properly. I contacted several plumbers and even shared videos explaining the issue, but no one responded or showed up despite promising to visit. Finally, I contacted Urban Company, and Sahil resolved the issue in just 10 minutes! I am extremely impressed with his technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and quick service. He fixed an issue that had troubled me for two months in just a few minutes. Excellent work, Sahil! Thank you for your prompt and professional service. Highly recommended!

I had a disappointing experience with the plumber who visited my home and would like to bring this matter to Urban Company’s attention. He informed me that my tap needed to be replaced and offered to purchase the replacement part himself. However, I later discovered that the price charged was significantly higher than the market price. I paid around ₹1,900 for a tap that I subsequently found on Amazon for approximately ₹900, with even better variants available at a similar price. The process also raised some concerns. He asked me to make the payment via UPI while he was at a local shop, and the product came without a brochure or warranty card. The only proof of purchase provided was a handwritten bill. This lack of proper documentation and price transparency is concerning, especially when customers rely on the platform for trustworthy service. Additionally, he insisted that I give him a five-star rating while he was still present. After checking previous customer reviews, I noticed similar concerns, which made me question whether this was an isolated incident. I would request Urban Company to investigate this matter and look into the pricing practices and conduct of this service professional. I understand that service providers may source products from different vendors, but customers should be given transparent pricing, genuine products, and proper bills and warranty documentation. I would advise other customers to compare prices before agreeing to purchase spare parts through a service professional, particularly for expensive items. I hope Urban Company takes this feedback seriously and ensures a more transparent and reliable customer experience.
