Unfortunately I had the worst experience of my life with Manju Pandey.To begin with,when I booked & UC app appointed her to me,I read her reviews where were good & i felt I am in safe hands as I booked her for make up,hair styling & saree draping.When she arrived,she was in very bad mood,neither she greeted nor responded to my greetings,she brought her slippers all the way to my hall,this is the basic manners expected of everyone where we remove our slippers at the front door when we go to anyone's house.Then I asked her for coffee or tea or juice she would like to have,she said no,I asked her to use washroom if she needs,she said no.I still tried to bring her to good terms by being friendly because she is going to work on my face afterall,so I asked her I have 2 choices to wear,what do you think suits me,for which she gave a blunt reply,wear whatever u want to,I understood she is a very rude person,later she said you booked for basic make up,so I won't be applying any foundation to you,she asked me to look at her face & said this is how your going to look,to me,she was looking very tired(may be from working whole day,who knows)She started asking personal questions where r u from & all,hw long did I shift to this new apartment,what do I do for a living,(I thought she is making an effort to be friendly in order to compensate for her rude behavior,but later I realized she was judging how much she can charge me,when she took extra cash Rs 400 from me,on top of 2600 Rs which I already paid online,she asked for 500 RS more for hairstyle,which I denied. Moreover she dint apply hair protectant on my hairs while she was working on it,I reminded her very calmly in my gentle demeanour to plz apply it,for which she replied I have enough mehendi in my hairs which will protect my hairs from heat generated by hair straightener.She make me look horrible by her make up,she promised she will apply HD makeup,for which she demanded extra cash.she took out Mac products & also krylon products,she asked me not to open my eyes otherwise my make up will spoil & will get fine lines,later I realized she applied me krylon products and not Mac product as she promised & charged me for it.Her behavior was so rude to an extent,where I got scared of her that she is going to hit me.I told her can she drape pant saree on me,as it is the easiest drape,she said I don't kw hw to tie saree,she said she only wears it once or twice/year,I was shocked at this point that urban company gave me appointment of such an employee who doesn't know how to drape a saree??? & they charge for it,at this point I was very upset but I still kept my cool as I dint believe in being rude to rude people,they need much love & kindness.Later after she did horrible make up in me,she asked me to show to my husband,who was sitting there at hall,he gave his honest opinion saying he dint like it,it was very patchy & looked horrible,to which she replied,husbands always like other women makeup,not wife's makeup,I was shocked to see such audacity in a person. As soon as make up was done,she started shouting that why my saree isn't pressed yet,let me tell you all,I called her twice before she reached my home,I asked her what are the things I need to prepare before hand so this process is smooth,she said I don't need to do anything,then now she said she is getting late,she has left her 7 year old son in park,I told her not to panic,I also told her il drop you home or where ever your son is right now(as I have a small child & I understand her trouble)let me tell you all,her appointment was of 2 hours and she created ruckus within 1 hour itself,when I still politely told her that according to the app,she is still within time itself,even for this she replied saying she has 15 years of experience and she doesn't need 2 hours to get me ready(I was wondering if she really has 15 years of experience and still she doesn't know how to tie a saree???)She asked me 3-4 times how come I dint press my saree even before she arrived,I apologized her for my mistake & told her this is my first time experience with make up artist of urban company,though I have been a member of urban company since 3 years,but I usually take spa & parlor services.She said I know ur going to write a bad review,to which I kept quiet & thought I wouldn't write it(but by not doing so,m only encouraging such behavior towards other customers).At the end she demanded 400 RS,I paid her,she still demanded 500 RS more for which I denied,she became so furious,I was really really scared of her,but my husband was home,so I knew if she gets physically abusive,my husband will intervene.She also berated me that I only booked basic make up & hair styling & saree draping while she just finished a 5000 RS make up on a customer before me.She even fought with taxi driver on phone,and unfortunately my young child witnessed all of it.Phewww,I had the worst experience of my life,be careful from such girls who mint more money from you once they enter your house,I had no option but to continue,more over this is a request to all other customers,not to highly recommend someone who did an okay job,just to be good in others books plz,as this can be misleading.
