I had an issue with the water inlet of my washing machine, so I booked a service through Urban Company. The technician inspected the machine and told me that there was an issue with both the water inlet motor and the motherboard. Based on his diagnosis, I agreed to the repair and the total amount he quoted for the motherboard service and inlet motor replacement. However, later I had a Whirlpool technician inspect the washing machine. He confirmed that only the water inlet motor had been replaced and that there was no issue with the motherboard. He also confirmed that nothing had been replaced or repaired on the motherboard and that the output from the motherboard was normal at around 230V. This makes me feel that I was unnecessarily charged for a motherboard-related service that was not actually required or performed. I feel misled by the technician's diagnosis and believe I was charged an additional amount without proper justification. I am not satisfied with the service provided and would like Urban Company to investigate this matter, verify the technician's diagnosis and work carried out, and provide a refund for any amount charged for work that was not required or not actually performed.
