Not just about this guy but overall. I have noticed a pattern about UC partners that they dont care about the customers money, they try to manipulate to change the services or price at the place so we will not have enough time to think and blow up the money. It happened with me 2-3 times and hence thats the reason I dont book often. They would say shops might be closed so you can rebook and i will come again tomorrow.Or i will get this spare part for you dont worry and they charge 2-3 times for that part. Customer is paying hard earned money and these guys want to suck them for a minor thing. I think you guys would have heard these feedbacks a million times and thats the reason a company like UC is still not in the mainstream usage although it has all the potential to be. You have to train these partners to gain some empathy and not think customer as a money printing machines. And that was my 2 cents. This guy was not the worst but I have noticed these patterns for him too, like he spiked the price to break the lock. He was trying to act nice and buttered up 100 rs. Then regarding hinge service, he mentioned they dont carry spare parts. Alright when i asked him can i get it, he was like spare shops might be closed. When i told him, they would be open till 9pm then he was trying to manipulate me to buy whole set of 4 hinges so he can charge me 400 rs. Then I asked him to come tomorrow for applying new door lock and hinges. He told me to book again you have to give ratings first. When he went out, i cancelled the booking and called a local carpenter to provide service in half the cost and no bullshit. PS He is not the bad one but he lacked empathy towards customer money. I know everything is revenue for your company and partners, just treat customers like normal human beings who earn clean money, pay taxes, get nothing from govt and then try to avoid these kind of overly manipulative services.
