Do I need to have a session every month?

A laser session should only happen on full growth, once a month compulsory session is not a rule. For example - A laser session happens for underarms, and there is no growth after a month, we can do the session after 2 or 3 months as well. As the number of sessions increases, the gap between the sessions will also keep increasing. Touch up sessions can be required once in 6 months or a year once the sessions are completed for a particular part.

Am I never going to get back any hair after the treatment?

After the completion of the required number of sessions 90% of the hair is removed permanently and the remaining hair will be very fine and scanty with a very slow growth rate.

Can I stop taking sessions the moment my hair is lesser?

One of the biggest mistakes people make is not completing the necessary amount of sessions. Once the hair growth slows down, patients don't follow through

Are there any side effects?

Laser hair Reduction is an extremely safe procedure with no permanent side effects. Some people might experience temporary redness of skin post treatment

How many and how often do I need Chemical Peels?

4 sessions are recommended to get the ideal result.Gap between the sessions can range from 14 days- 30 days as per the advice of Dermatologist.

I have had laser hair removal done professionally by a dermatologist before and I know that the zaps need to be precise and in order. In this, 1. She did not know how to shave properly (you need to use a gel, not run a dry razor over skin) and half the hair remained, which made a few zaps painful. 2. While using the laser machine, she kept moving the laser quickly over the areas and not systematically zapping spot after spot which is what is required. So she missed a lot of spots which still have hair right now.

Pre Care Instructions

Avoid using topical creams, moisturisers, perfumes to the area being treated before the appointment.

Avoid tanning / sunburn for 1 week prior to your treatment and always protect the skin with sunscreen.

Avoid chemical peels or laser resurfacing treatment at least 1 week prior to your treatment.

Do not wax, tweeze, thread or electrolyte hair in the 1 week leading up to your appointment.

Post Care Instructions

Book your next hair reduction appointment online when you see significant hair regrowth in the treated area.

Mild redness and swelling may occur in the treated area for a few hours after the service. If the treated skin turns deep red or irritated, apply a cold compress and contact the helpline.

Avoid shaving the treated areas within 10 days of the next appointment.
