Beware of this technician! He misinformed me by claiming that my geyser has a glass-lined tank, whereas the label clearly states that it has an MS (mild steel) tank with a polymer coating. He quoted ₹1,600 for replacing the heating element, apparently based on the claim that it was a glass-lined tank. However, after charging me this amount, he was planning to purchase a cheaper element and install it instead. Thankfully, I questioned his explanation before proceeding. I ended up wasting ₹269 on the service charge. Please be careful and verify the details before trusting his recommendations. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional.
