Complaint Regarding TV Repair Service and Unprofessional Behaviour A technician visited my home to repair my TV and informed me that the power component was faulty and needed to be replaced. He quoted approximately ₹2,700, and after negotiation, I paid him approximately ₹2,500 for the replacement and repair. However, within just 2–3 minutes of the repair, my TV developed another issue. The screen stopped displaying any picture. I immediately contacted the technician and asked him to check the problem. When he returned, he claimed that the TV had been hit or physically damaged. However, we had not touched or mishandled the TV. He pointed out an old mark on the TV, which had already been present before the repair. Despite that mark, the TV had been working perfectly fine before his visit. Now, instead of taking responsibility for the issue that occurred immediately after his repair, he is making excuses and refusing to cooperate. I requested that he remove the replaced component and refund the amount I paid, but he is not willing to resolve the matter. This experience has been extremely disappointing and has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I strongly suspect that the repair has not been carried out properly, and I expect the service provider to take responsibility. I demand a proper resolution, either by repairing my TV at no additional cost or by refunding the amount paid for the repair. I request that this complaint be addressed immediately. If the issue is not resolved, I will be compelled to escalate the matter to the company’s higher authorities and the appropriate consumer grievance forum.
