Your wedding is coming up soon, and you’re yet to decide wedding and mehendi favours for the guests. Whether you choose to give Bangles on your Mehendi function or Potlis at the Bridal Shower, there’s one element we can bet you haven’t even added to your Wedding Checklist – HOW TO DISPLAY THESE FAVOURS!
You could leave it to your decorator to do a basic set up, OR you could have some fun and give your guests a special display set up that they’ll enjoy!
Display Set Up Decor Ideas you’ll get in this post –
These are one of the most common Mehendi favours, but you can display them at the function in interesting ways!
Make it a “Bindi & Bangle Bar”! The sign on the right says “Swag Up Your Look The Desi Way”
Add a fun Bollywood sign “Bole Chudiyaan, Bole Kangana” 🙂
Simply display them on a vertical stand like this to make them a part of the decor –
“Mojri Wala” sign adds a fun touch to your Mehendi favour display –
If you’d like to include the Men in your Mehendi favour gifting (and why wouldn’t you?!), cuff links or pocket squares can be displayed like this. The sign says –
“Please pick one, The fun has just begun!”
“For the men with swag” and “For the ladies to wake up & makeup”
This mehendi favours display is a FAVOURITE, and it was also the first time we saw someone get innovative with this aspect of wedding planning! The women’s earrings & bracelets were packaged in embroidery hoops and the wedding hashtag was included in the packaging! Wooden panels were used to display the favours beautifully with pom pom strings decorating the area.
If you’re giving wedding favours at a combined function (or your Wedding day), a sign like this is perfect –
Most of us will give ladoos to the wedding guests. Packing them in a box like this with the message “a sweet ending to a new beginning” is a great way to send them off!
Keep it cute with these decorated glass jars and a sign that says “Please take a TREAT”, literally!
A wall in a contrasting colour, so that the white and gold teacups pop! Simple & beautiful.
One of our favourite 2018 weddings was Mansha’s, and she displayed favours for her bridesmaids in the most beautiful way – all white! Everything was kept in cute white trays and the hangover kits got a “Make Love, Not Horcruxes” cover (courtesy the Harry Potter fan couple). Sweet little ghungroo dreamcatchers and a gold feather head band added finishing touches to the display.
Which one’s your favourite?
