Your wedding is near, you’ve tackled all your big tasks, from the perfect dress to the way it is going to be. But what every girl wrapped up in dreaming of her wedding day would forget to take good care of is her skin, which is more crucial than it may seem, says Roopali Agrawal, an
expert make-up professional on our platform.Apart from being ready to go all out to help the bride for her big day, Roopali also specializes in skin care consultancy.
Just some simple tips will keep looking pretty always and especially on YOUR day! If not right away, make sure you make this your skin care regime, at least, a month before your Wedding day.
No compromiseson what you look and feel like on your big day right? Roopali Agrawal, our makeup expert, shares some tips
Keep skin care on top of the priority list, not the last:
Never get your facial done right before the wedding. Instead, get it done at least a week prior to your wedding. If you get it done right before your wedding day, your skin tends to have breakouts. So remember to treat your face when the time is right
Don’t let the sun take over:
Skin tends to undergo pigmentation. For those of us who don’t know, pigmentation is purely discolouration of the skin because of the harsh sun. Use sun block to protect the face and to use anti tan face masks. Take care of your skin at home rather than applying any and every product you discover.
Say no to bleach:
You don’t need to apply bleach at all unless there’s very visible hair. Bleach does not do the skin any good. It steals the natural hydrated look away too. Instead of using bleach, it’s advisable to cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin as often as you can.
Say bye to those night worries:
Anti-tan products along with a proper night cream every night will help cover those frown lines and dark circles from the wedding tension. Home remedies like face masks twice or thrice a week will help a great deal.
The small worries that turn big:
Oily skin, Colour of your skin, the natural glow, the oomph factor. Roopali tells us to forget it all. She tells us if we follow these simple tips there’s nothing that can go wrong. She also says,
– Don’t try to look fair, just be you
– Buy necessary things, just don’t buy anything the beauty shops recommend. Do your research.
– Take care of you. Sleep well, eat well and stay well.
We hope these simple tips make your wedding preparations complete.
