We’re mid-way through the winter season here in North India, and with endless weddings lined up for January and February, you must be getting your wardrobe ready!

What are your options for outfits when it comes to winter weddings? Full-sleeve anarkalis and full-sleeve kurtas are obvious choices. But if you pick the right blouse design & fabric, you can wear a lehenga or a sari without sacrificing warmth AND style!

1. Peplum Blouses

We love this blouse design because it covers your waist completely which means more warmth! But it still looks fashionable.

2. Peter Pan Collar Blouses

The closed collar will keep your neck cosy, but pick an interesting pattern or design to keep it from looking too old-school

7. Velvet & Silk Blouse Designs – The Right Fabric!

You can wear a V-neck, boat neck or a slightly deeper neck as well, as long as you stick to warm fabrics for your blouse. Velvets, raw silks and silk satins are good choices!

ProTip: Leave the deep necks and open backs for summer weddings, if you want to truly stay warm. Leave some margin in the fit and you might even get space to add a thermal underneath!

8. Closed Back

Make sure your blouse is fully-closed from the back to keep yourself warm
