  • Step 1- Add 1 teaspoon of sandalwood powder and a pinch of turmeric powder in a bowl. Chandan (sandalwood powder) is enriched with several minerals that breathe life into the skin. It also contains natural skin lightening agents. This turmeric face pack is very effective for skin whitening.
  • Step 2- Combine them and make a paste by adding rose water. Rose water contains anti-inflammatory properties that soothe irritated skin.
  • Step 3- Apply all over your face and keep it for 15 minutes before rinsing with cool water.

  • Step 1- In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder followed by coconut oil enough to make a paste.

  • Step 1 – Put 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder in a bowl. Add enough lemon juice to make a smooth paste and mix the ingredients well.

  • Step 4- Leave the paste for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Step 5- Wash it off with warm water and pat dry your skin.

 

Some more tips when using turmeric for face:

• Use an old towel to pat dry your face, as turmeric can leave a bright yellow stain on the towel.
• Do not go out in the sun after applying lemon on your face, as it makes your skin more susceptible to the ultraviolet (UV) rays causing dark spots and tanning.
