Tomatoes are good for treating sunburns too. Here are 5 easy tomato face pack recipes which you can make using just two ingredients to give you amazing skin!

For Oily Skin

Cucumber acts as a skin toner and balances pH levels while tomato tightens enlarged pores which is common for those with oily skin. This face pack also prevents acne as it controls sebum formation.

Ingredients 

1/2 tomato, 1/4 cucumber

Instructions

Squeeze the juice from the tomato into a bowl. 

Add grated/mashed cucumber to this

Apply this mixture to your face 

Wash it off after 15-20 minutes.

Do this twice a week.

For Acne Prone Skin

This mask will heal your acne, fade scars, shrink large pores and make your oily skin normal and balanced. It is ideal for those with acne prone, oily skin and combination skin. The bentonite clay in it helps lift impurities from your skin, leaving it refreshed and rejuvenated.

Ingredients 

1/2 ripe tomato, 1 tablespoon fuller earth (multani mitti)

Instructions

Grate the tomato or blend it to get puree

Combine fullers earth with the tomato puree to make a smooth paste

Apply evenly on your face and neck and let it sit for 15 minutes

Wash it off with water.

Use 1-2 times a week.

Tomato For Face Whitening and Tan Removal

To get rid of suntan quickly a mask made with tomato and potato extracts can be very effective as there are many benefits of tomato for skin complexion.

Ingredients 

Potato, Tomato

Instructions

Grate half a potato and squeeze out the juice.

Grate a tomato and collect its juice.

Mix the two in an equal proportion and apply this on the affected area

After you applying one layer, let it sink in and then apply another layer.

Continue layering for 4-5 times and then finally let it dry completely before removing with a wet washcloth.

Face Pack For Glowing Skin 

While tomato lightens blemishes and brightens your complexion, honey moisturizes and aids the healing process by supplying essential nutrients and antioxidants 

Ingredients 

Tomato, Honey

Instructions

Mix the juice of one tomato with a teaspoon of honey

Massage this mix on your face for 5 minutes and leave it to rest for another 15 minutes 

Rinse it off with tap water for desired results.

Use 2 times a week.

Face Pack For Dark Circles

Tomato pulp possesses skin bleaching properties that lighten the delicate skin under the eyes. Aloe vera contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that rejuvenate skin and reduce the signs of aging 

Ingredients 

1 teaspoon tomato juice, A few drops of aloe vera gel

Instructions

Mix both ingredients and apply the mixture on the under eye area carefully.

Let it dry for 10 minutes and then rinse it off.

Apply this once or twice daily for quick results.

Face Pack For Dry Skin

This face pack will leave your skin soft and well moisturized as olive oil contains essential fatty acids that nourish the skin and eliminate dryness with ease

Ingredients 

A tomato, 1 teaspoon virgin olive oil

Instructions

Cut the tomato into two parts. Squeeze the juice from one half into a bowl.

Add olive oil to it and stir the mixture.

Apply this mixture on your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes.

Wash it off with warm water.

Do this twice a week.
