You’ve seen it all, but have you seen it all in one place? We put together every single photo and video out there from Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ big fat wedding, put it under the Urban Company Weddings lens and culled out what to love, what you shouldn’t miss and which wedding idea you should steal!
An Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation, the multi-hued folksy organdy lehenga was paired with heirloom jewellery (also by AJSK). We love the zig-zag stripes, the stars on the jacket-style blouse and the riot of candy colours mixed with neons!
The bride’s hairstyle was just gorgeous! It was a messy bun which had braids (to create texture) and tendrils that framed her face in front. A pink and white gajra were added to finish the look.
The makeup was kept simple, with Priyanka’s lips highlighted in a mauve shade. We also loved the delicate maang tikka that suited her face shape perfectly!
He wore an aqua bakhiya kurta, which essentially meant it was a combination of a chikankari-type embroidery on a beautiful shade of blue!
Nick Jonas wore a salmon pink kurta to a pre-wedding pooja with Priyanka Chopra in a powder blue suit with hints of pink to coordinate with her hubby-to-be!
There are not enough brides doing this! So many would be unsure of comfortably dancing at their Sangeet or Cocktail ceremony in a sari, but PC is no stranger to dancing in one 🙂
The gold and silver sequinned sari was blinged out enough, so Priyanka only needed one statement necklace (a cascade of pear-shaped diamonds suspended from a row of marquise diamonds) to complete the glamorous Bollywood look. Her bangles and earrings were kept minimal.
They may be two of the biggest stars in the world, but the Desi Girl ensured the Sangeet was done in true desi style. There was a dance skit – with members of the family and friends dancing choreographed numbers on stage that depicted the couple’s love story! And there was a boy’s vs girl’s side competition running to see which side performed better!

We loved the Bollywood glamour theme that seemed to run throughout, and that the Jonas family prepared surprisingly brilliant moves to all our Bollywood songs!
Nick Jonas looked like a cutie dancing to Bollywood songs on his Sangeet – in an open midnight blue sherwani with silk thread detailing by AJSK. The remaining 3 Jonas brothers also opted for similar sherwani style jackets with pants in darker shades of blue to match Nick’s outfit!
GORGEOUS! It was a head to toe red wedding lehenga, that stood out in the sea of ivories and beiges that the rest of the main wedding party was wearing.
PC paired her lehenga with layered polki necklaces and bangles by Sabyasachi. She also wore a simple bridal nath, round small earrings (unique pick for a bride!) a chaand maang tikka and kamar bandh. The kaleereys, by Mrinalini Chandra, were the perfect gold addition to the red ensemble.
The phoolon ki chaadar was a simple red cloth, and it matched the red the bride was wearing!
PC wore a red tulle veil as she entered her Hindu wedding ceremony.
Firstly, Ralph Lauren has only ever designed a wedding dress before for 3 women (his daughter, daughter-in-law and niece) so the fact that he created one for PC is incredible!
Secondly, the hand-embroidered & hand-beaded beauty with a high-neck collar & lace effect tulle appliques is one of the most beautiful white wedding dresses we’ve ever seen. Seriously, would you look at it?! No wonder it took over 1,800 hours to make!
A closer look at the details –
It’s hard to find the right bridal makeup style for Christian brides that complements our Indian skin tones. Priyanka Chopra’s wedding makeup artist did this so well!
She revealed that her bridal hairstyle was a soft romantic bun with tendrils (soft curls left at the front).
According to Vogue India, “her exact lipstick shade was Marc Jacobs Le Marc Crème Lipstick in Boy Gorgeous (Shade #222). The berry rouge lipstick has a heavy colour payoff and leaves lips plumped and hydrated.” The article also says, “The rest of the makeup was kept simple—a pop of coral on the eye and a peachy flush on the cheeks kept everything light and luminous.”
Madhu Chopra, mother of the bride, walked her down the aisle in a stunning blue Ralph Lauren outfit. The colour looked so beautiful on her that we think more mommies should wear this shade to their son’s or daughter’s Indian weddings!
Umaid Bhawan Palace was decorated in beautiful white and pink blooms and you should pin this as a gorgeous mandap decor idea!
Don’t miss the simple white tulle tie-ups decorating the matte gold chairs.
We count 7 tiers on this beautiful ivory and gold fondant wedding cake. It looked pretty spectacular!
PC’s mangalsutra was a neo-modern design by Sabyasachi, and we’re loving how this traditional piece of jewellery is coming of age! We’re spotting minimal designs that the modern bride will actually love! Remember the solitaire mangalsutra Deepika Padukone wore?
While Deepika Padukone had personalised her wedding lehenga with a mantra embroidered on the dupatta, Priyanka added names of her parents and motifs and words she loved to both her wedding outfits (the Ralph Lauren gown and red Sabyasachi lehenga). There are no pictures at the moment of these details, but there is one we spotted on her bridal Mehendi design!

Priyanka Chopra wore a frosted nude lehenga with innumerable Swarovski crystals by Falguni & Shane Peacock to her Delhi reception. The bride decided to keep this look as monotone as her Christian wedding look, opting to wear a 3-layered diamond necklace with diamond earrings and white flowers. The only 3 elements adding a touch of red to her look were her lipstick, choodas and sindoor.
This is the first Reception the couple hosted. The next one is expected to take place in Mumbai, so stay tuned to read more!
