Ingredients:

  • Oats – 2 tablespoons
  • Honey – 1 teaspoon
  • Rose water – 2 tablespoons

Directions: Grind the oats to make a coarse powder. Add the honey and rosewater. Mix to make a coarse paste. Apply and scrub gently, in circular motions. Wash off with lukewarm water.

  • Sugar – 1 tablespoon

Directions: Make sure you use fine sugar, and not a very granular one. Granular sugar can be too harsh for your facial skin. Combine all the ingredients to make a scrub. Apply this on your face and gently scrub for 5 minutes, concentrating on the T-zone and chin areas. Wash off with water.

Ingredients:

  • Rose water –  1 tablespoon
  • Clay/Multani Mitti/Fuller’s Earth – 1 heaped tablespoon
  • Tea tree oil – 2-3 drops

Directions: Add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil to the clay powder, along with rose water, to make a smooth paste.  Apply a thin layer on your face and let dry. Wash off with cool water, and follow up with a water-based foundation. Do this twice a week.

Rosewater & Lemon Overnight Face Pack

Ingredients:

  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Rose water – 1 tablespoon

Directions: Mix the two ingredients and apply evenly over your face and neck. Keep it on for the night. Wash your face the next morning.

Milk & Rose Water for Dark Circles

Ingredients:

  • Cold milk – 1 tablespoon
  • Rose water – 1 tablespoon

Directions: Add the rosewater to the milk in a small bowl. Take two cotton pads and dip them in the rose water and milk solution. Place the pads over eyes for 10 minutes. You don’t need to wash your eyes after removing the pads. Do this daily till the dark circles lighten.

Rose Water for Tired Eyes

Cool rose water can be used to soothe tired eyes. Use some normal water to dilute chilled rose water. Splash your eyes with this solution.

Rose water & Glycerin Overnight Mask for for Dry Skin

Ingredients:

  • Glycerin – 3 teaspoons
  • Rose water – 3 teaspoons
  • Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon

Directions: Mix the glycerin and rose water. Next, add the lemon juice and stir. Pour the mix into a spray bottle. Before sleeping at night, spray the mix on your face and massage it into the skin.  Leave it overnight and wash the next morning.

Ingredients:

  • Sandalwood powder –  2 teaspoons
  • Rose water – 1 tablespoon
  • Ripe papaya – 2 slices

Directions: Wash the papaya slices (you’d want to remove any traces of pesticides). Mash the slices to a pulp, and mix in the rose water and sandalwood. Apply the face pack for 10 minutes. Use cold water to wash off.

Rose Water Toner DIY Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 10-15 tulsi eaves
  • Rose petals from 2 flowers
  • 1 500ml mineral water bottle

Directions: Add the water, rose petals, and tulsi leaves to a saucepan. Bring to boil over a medium flame. Let it simmer till the water reduces to half. Cool and store in spray bottle. For oily skin, we recommend Apple Cider Vinegar based toners.
